In line with global efforts to mitigate the effects of increasing planet temperatures, we have taken action to reduce the environmental impacts of our activities across the entire scope of our operations and supply chain, leading our industry in many aspects of energy reductions, emissions avoidance, and resource efficiency. We were among the first in our industry to commit to Science Based Targets, using 2011 as our baseline.

Our commitment to environmental stewardship

We are committed to reducing our business impacts on the environment by mitigating our effect on climate change. In 2019, we updated our previously approved science-based targets to be in line with well below 2 degrees Celsius per the Science Based Targets initiative. After the 2020 merger between Eldorado Resorts and Caesars Entertainment, we looked at how to set targets and goals for the combined entity and expand our strategy to all operations.
