Jeremy is the founder and senior partner of Systemiq – a blended advisory/investment firm whose purpose is to create good disruptions in the world’s critical economic systems. He brings a wealth of experience from leading global institutions including McKinsey and the World Bank. He has been at the forefront of driving the sustainability revolution throughout his career, setting up McKinsey’s Sustainability and Resource Productivity Practice, and supporting ambitious organisations to put in place low-carbon, resource-efficient strategies, as well as being the programme director of the New Climate Economy project.

It was a privilege to hear Jeremy’s insights on Net Positive Hospitality and how we can meaningfully make our ambition for the industry a reality.

JoAnna is the Founder and CEO of MindClick, a data analytics company dedicated to advancing ESG (environmental, social and governance) in the hospitality sector.

JoAnna is a frequent speaker on the topics of ESG, sustainability and consumer trends, and the power of ratings to accelerate change. She has been recognised by the UNWTO as a leading voice in sustainable tourism, named a hospitality industry innovator by Lodging Magazine, recognized by Wharton’s Initiative for Global Environmental Leadership, Cornell’s Hospitality Research Summit, and the Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council.

Combining over 10 years of sustainability expertise in interiors, with 20 years in brand management, technology, data analytics, and finance, JoAnna leads her team in delivering innovative, results driven solutions to our environmental and social responsibility challenges in the built environment.

Tiffany is Co-Founder and CEO of Beyond Bamboo Global, a next-generation sustainability platform focused on sustainable procurement and responsible sourcing.

Her first book ‘Shine’ was published in 2020 and she is an inspirational speaker leading women’s empowerment workshops, leadership summits and innovation think tanks towards social change. Tiffany has worked with the First Lady of Japan to create empowerment for women in Tokyo, has created and run summits at the House of Commons in London and delivered Ted Talks in Delhi and Tokyo. Most recently Tiffany Co-founded, curated and moderated the House of Balance in Davos during the World Economic Forum.

Tiffany has spoken at female empowerment events to raise awareness of and prevent human trafficking and facilitated partnership collaborations for the Unilever and DFiD global Transform initiative, aiming to provide clean water and sanitation to 100million people by 2025.

After completing his training as a hotel manager, Karl-Heinz Pawlizki gained experience in the areas of accounting and controlling, front office and F&B during various professional positions at home and abroad. In 2002 he switched to general management and was initially responsible for the Crowne Plaza Hamburg. Two years later he took on the position of Director of Operations Germany at the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). Between 2009 and 2014, he held various other management positions within the group including Vice President Global Operations Planning & Performance at IHG Worldwide.

In August 2014, Karl-Heinz Pawlizki moved to the Dorint Hotel Group, where he rose to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director of Dorint Hospitality & Innovation GmbH within three years. He has been CEO of Arabella Hospitality SE since January 1st, 2022.

Jörg. T. Böckeler, Spokesman of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), has been at the helm of the Dorint Hotel Group with the brands Hommage Luxury Hotels Collection, Dorint Hotels & Resorts and Essential by Dorint since November 2021. He joined the company in 2018 as their Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Jörg Böckeler is responsible for the strategic divisions such as Asset Management & Development, Finance, Marketing, Sales and Legal. The experienced hotelier is also decisively driving forward the positioning of the luxury brand “Hommage Luxury Hotels Collection”, launched in 2019.

Claire manages our environmental sustainability strategy, including our work on climate action, water stewardship, and responsible resourcing.

Claire has nearly a decade’s experience driving sustainability progress for Hilton. During this time, she worked on a wide range of projects including updating Hilton’s global CR strategy, leading their water stewardship efforts and creating behaviour change campaigns, as well as leading initiatives focused on issues such as energy efficiency, single-use plastic reduction and responsible sourcing.

Florian is an experienced transformation specialist who brings old companies into their new Carbon-Zero reality.

Over the years he has done this in different roles as consultant, CRO, startup entrepreneur, advisory board member, coach, CDO (Chief Development Officer) of EY in DACH and Quarterback for the EY Parthenon Build Up.

In his current roles as founder of EYCarbon and Leader of EYSpark he turns their B2B model into an H2H (Human to Human) model, which is 100 % client centric, technology enabled, supported by an agile organization and founded on a CEX (customer experience first) culture. All this is to strive for maximum impact and value creation, which is no longer measured in Euro, but in the long term value we add to our all future.

Brian is the Managing Director of Ritrovo – a global digital enablement and knowledge sharing platform for hospitality that inspires the next generation of our leaders. He has a wealth of experience working across food services, facilities management, retail and hotels and has held positions as the Managing Director at Aramark UK, along with Director positions at Compass and Marriott International.

Ritrovo is partnering with the Alliance to create digital solutions that enable the hospitality industry to deliver the changes required to achieve net positive hospitality.

Jenny works across a wide range of industry sectors recruiting new members to the global Cool Food program and nurturing existing membership partnerships. She works closely with WRI’s behavioural and environmental scientists helping to nudge consumers towards eating more plant rich foods.

Jenny is a Public Health Nutritionist and Marketer and prior to joining WRI Jenny headed up the Membership and Nutrition areas at Leatherhead Food Research, an international food and beverage consultancy. Running their global membership program and working on a range of nutrition, regulatory and sustainability related consultancy projects. Jenny has experience of working in both the public and private sectors, having worked for the Health Education Authority delivering the Department of Health’s public health nutrition program. In addition to being the Health and Wellbeing Marketer and Company Nutritionist at Marks and Spencer and running her own consultancy.

Wolfgang has been the Chair of the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance (and our predecessor International Tourism Partnership) since 2014, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry.

He spent more than 20 years with Hilton, building his career to President Hilton Europe and Africa. In 2011 he joined joined the Radisson Hotel Group as President & Chief Executive and served until 2017. He was subsequently appointed to the Supervisor Board and functioned as Senior Advisor until 2020.

Today he has a diversified portfolio of different non-executive director and strategic advisory roles in the Travel and Tourism sector and also serves as Chairman of the Board, Hotel School The Hague (NL).

Glenn Mandziuk is an internationally recognised CEO with over 25 years of leadership experience in advancing sustainable practices in tourism, hospitality and economic development, and establishing strategies and programmes that inspire responsible growth.

Prior to becoming CEO of the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance, Glenn was President and Chief Executive Officer of Canada’s Thompson Okanagan Tourism Region (TOTA) with its 4,000 industry stakeholders.

Glenn has 10 years’ experience in the hospitality industry in family-owned and operated hotels and resorts and holds a Master of Environmental Design degree majoring in sustainable tourism planning. He is also a director on the Board of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council and the Responsible Tourism Institute.
